Tucked away in Marysville, Ohio, Stephanie and Grant Yeater’s wedding was the perfect blend of elegance and romance. They celebrated at Retreat 21, a venue that beautifully mirrored their love for luxury and their appreciation for the natural beauty around them.

The Planning Journey

From our first meeting in January 2024, Stephanie’s vision for her wedding was clear. As their planner, I was excited to help make that vision a reality. Her elegant design, full of love, beautifully reflected her relationship with Grant. The mock-up designs let Stephanie preview her vision before the big day. Working together over the months was a joy, and by the wedding day, I was eager to see it all come together perfectly.

A Modern Fairy Tale

Stephanie and Grant’s love story is like a fairy tale coming to life. They met in high school—Stephanie was a lively cheerleader, and Grant was on the basketball team. Their connection was instant, and by May 2018, they were officially together. Over the years, they shared many special moments, from school events to trips and cheering for their favorite teams.

In May 2023, Grant’s proposal was a perfect reflection of their deep connection. On the wedding morning, I had the pleasure of delivering a heartfelt surprise—letters from Grant to his bride-to-be and each bridesmaid. Seeing their reactions to his touching words was a highlight of the day and showed just how much he values the special people in his life.

The Perfect Venue

Retreat 21 was the ideal setting for their wedding. The venue combines modern elegance with a peaceful vibe, making it both stylish and calming. Pew seating, stunning interiors, and panoramic views set a stunning scene, and the couple’s choice of a string duet added a special touch to the ceremony music. Surrounded by lush trees and rolling meadows, the outdoor ceremony area felt both intimate and grand.

A Day of Elegance

The wedding day combined classic elegance with personal touches. Stephanie chose a refined color scheme of white, pearl, and light blue, which matched Retreat 21’s natural beauty perfectly. Her Essense of Australia gown from Wendy’s Bridal Columbus featured elegant off-the-shoulder straps and a romantic silhouette. Every detail, from the lovely flowers to the beautiful setup, was planned with care.

The day was filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Stephanie and Grant are a truly wonderful couple, and it was an absolute pleasure to help make their wedding dreams come true.
